These levels are designed to address the underlying causes of addiction and provide clients with the skills and strategies needed to maintain long-term sobriety. If family or a significant other has not been involved in the client’s treatment, this is the perfect time to include them. Family support can help resolve issues faster allowing for the patient to reinsert into society more effectively.
Amel Therapy Center Partial Hospitalization Program clients receive intensive treatment, 5 hours a day, but they don’t need round-the-clock medical supervision. During PHP, clients will participate in a structured schedule of treatment activities, including individual therapy, group therapy, and other evidence-based treatments.
IOP includes nine clinical hours of treatment per week. The hours are split into two groups, the first is at 9:00 AM, and the second one begins at 5:00 PM, including addiction education, relapse prevention, and emotional recovery. Patients work through underlying causes of addiction; grief, anxiety, trauma, and depression.
By creating connections in your sober living community, you will find healthy relationships and a strong support system to lean on. No one does it alone. Together we are strong!
Family therapy aims to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and enhance understanding, leading to a more supportive and sustainable sober living environment.
We do not have a one-size-fits-all system. We make sure to treat each person as the individual they are. Individual therapy can help you gain insight into where your trauma meets addiction. It will teach you useful learning tools for emotional resilience and positive behavioral changes.
Post-traumatic stress disorder therapy addresses the deepest and often most powerful mind wounds that create cognitive dissonance and therefore keep people bound to the chains of addiction. Rigorous honesty is all that is required here. As they say "the squeeky wheel gets the grease."
